Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's an American singer and actress. Bell was raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier), Nurse, and Tom Bell, a television news director. She is of Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment when she was just a teenager. In 1992, Kristen attended her first audition. The audition was for an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent at the age of was thirteen years old. She was then cast for newspaper ads and commercials for TV. Now, Bell also begins classes in acting for herself. Bell was a character who did not have a credit on Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she took home the part as Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her the completion of her studies. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang, but the sequence in which she made an appearance was cut. This meant that there is only a credit sequence. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
